So when people of the west do something good, like inventing technologies we all have the luxury of taking for granted, you attribute this to the doings of \u201cmankind.\u201d Yet when people of the west have done something of which you disapprove, like say say colonialism for example, then you attribute this to the monolithic western colonialists. I don\u2019t have to go back that far, I\u2019m talking about inventions made since the industrial revolution here. There are ample sources from this time on, and although individually they may be suspect, when taken together we can surmise a good idea of what transpired, by who and where.<\/div><\/div>
