But some critics are already pointing out inconsistencies: this boat that aims for zero emissions is what Tesla is to the car. That is to say, an expensive object, a technological gem and financially inaccessible for a large majority of people. This sailboat built in 2015 by the Edmond de Rothschild was bought for several million euros by team of Malizia, the team captained by the vice-president of the Monaco Yacht Club, Pierre Casiraghi, Caroline de Monaco's son.Other critics point out that while Greta Thunberg's speeches denounce the power of money, reality shows that ecological excellence, symbolized by this boat, requires significant financial support. Especially since the boat would be sponsored by BMW, a Swiss bank and the Principality of Monaco.Greta Thunberg replied that this "Malizia team has sponsors, of course. But for this trip with me to New York, there is no commercial sponsors. All their logos have been removed. It is not about money or future payments. They offered me a free trip because they support my cause."
I am working for saving this planet.
Do you think environment protection is wrong?
This solar "farm" alone already destroyed an area bigger than the area destroyed to build - over centuries! Pure FUN!Just to feed the present level of energy consumption of the city I live in using present day tech it would take an area almost the double in size of the city. And this area is if the solar "farm" was located near the city! The further the location of the solar "farm" from the city the bigger the area, due to power loss over transportation and other factors. But WE DON'T CARE about any of this... We just like to keep the life style as it is, we only accept very minor adjustments, not even actual CHANGES to it!
How will you produce the energy for a city like Moscow?
