What I want to know is, how did the ocean combine the mortar elements in the right concentrations, bake the bricks or carve out uniform cuboids and then arrange them with perfect spacing while holding them in place so that the mortar can set before whittling down the conglomerate into a rock shape!

@M. Dent, it's a piece of brick wall, trapped in the ocean. It is not known how long this piece has been in the ocean (this is not the only example - there are many such objects near Kronstadt).

In my opinion, this allows me to reconsider the rate of rock formation. Usually people think that "water sharpens a stone" for a very long time, thousands and millions of years. But this example shows that smooth sea stones can form from pieces of rock remains quite quickly by historical standards

@ivan zlax - sorry, I should have recognized the international character of the conversation and avoided my attempt at a backhanded joke against the unprovable naturalistic presuppositions that undergird evolutionary thinking.

It's clear that it is a chunk of brick wall - which was created by humans and worn and weathered by the water into it's shape. The complexity of the object shows that quite clearly. Nobody would actually think that the uniformity of the structure and the intricacy of mixing the mortar and setting everything in place could possibly have occurred naturally. At the same time, we are to take it as perfectly reasonable and rational that the irreducible complexity required for life in all its forms on the planet can arise spontaneously and unguided by "natural processes." This is just one example of the foolishness of the religious dogma that is naturalistic evolution. My comment was intended as a sort of short-hand joke pointing that out.

В это возможно поверить. А в то что волны изогули стену - вряд ли. И цемент должен разрушаться быстрее.

@Дима Ржевский просто цемент хороший. Я немного экспериментировал с цементом - всё зависит от того сколько песка. Также можно использовать клей или жидкое стекло вместо воды при замешивании. В результате цемент может получиться значительно крепче кирпича, даже прочнее некоторых камней.
